Oye its Friday!

I don't think I have written a review of a film or TV show... but this one definitely made me want to write!

For those of you who haven't watched it... this is a new show on NDTV Imagine. It comes every Friday (as you probably already guessed from the name). It's a chat cum performance kind of show. It's a mix of Jay Leno meets Saturday Night Live...

Farhan seems to be everywhere after Rock On!! But may be he needs to focus on what he does best instead of putting his fingers into as many pies as possible. As a host he comes across as a nervous little boy who doesn't know what to do! Especially after the camera cuts to him after a gag, his expression says "duh, was that meant to be funny" or "how do I react to that".

To be fair I watched the one that had Aamir as the guest. I've heard the first episode was marginally better.

The whole show is quite mediocre. The gags are not funny and the quality of production is low.

I expected a lot more from Farhan as he's so particular about his films right down to the sets and styling.

The best thing about the show was Benny Dayal's performance... he seems like a cool guy.
